It is hard to believe that we are already into March and that means that it is National Nutrition Month. The A’viands Nutrition & Wellness Department will be offering a “Tip of the Day” as much as possible during the month. The tip is meant to inspire you to try new foods, incorporate healthier foods into your diet and increase your awareness of your overall health.

March 4, 2013 – Tip of the Day

Start your day with breakfast. When you skip breakfast you miss out on nutrients that are not often made up for during the day. Include protein with your breakfast. Try foods such as low fat yogurt, an egg, peanut butter on toast, cheese stick or nuts in your cereal.
